      Well, let’s to the maths. First, we have to assume that microbial products have the same properties as current jet fuel (and the ones I’m developing do). Secondly, we need to know how much fuel a plane uses in general.

      Apparently, a Boeing 747 (Jumbo Jet) uses on average a gallon of fuel (about 4 litres) every second.

      How many seconds are there in 10 hours? 10 hours = 600 minutes = 36000 seconds.

      Therefore, 36000 seconds x 4 litres = 144,000 litres. That’s enough to fill over 720 baths.
