        I must admit, I had to google this and it looks like particle physics :$ .

        As far as I can tell it’s what can occur when a photon (a light particle) collides with the nucleus of an atom at very high speeds. This creates a particle and it’s anti-particle (e.g an electron and positron pair). To do this you need a very very powerful laser or particle accelerator!
