You won’t be able to see in the complete dark, but eating carrots will help you to maintain good vision and see better in low light levels!
Carrots contain contain beta-carotene, which the body is able to convert into vitamin A, an essential vitamin for healthy vision!
So it’s not just a trick from your mum to make you eat your vegetables, it really works!

CAROTENE FOR THE WIN! But if there’s beta-carotene, is there alpha-carotene?
