Question: Could solar cells be used to power a car

Yes but not by putting them on the car itself. A more efficient way to power the car would be to use solar cells to charge the electric car battery and run the car using the battery. Solar cells could be put on the car but these would be used to charge the batteries to run the lights or the stereo but not the car itself.
