        I work in Wales so it probably wouldn’t effect my work much at all. If I was in Scotland though it might have a big effect as my research is funded through the UK government in London as well as the Welsh government in Cardiff.

        I would not affect my work because I will start my new position as assistant professor in Taiwan in this August 🙂

        No, i am funded by the engineering and physical sciences research council and this money was secured 4 years ago so my funding and research project will be unaffected. When applying for more money/ future grant proposals i imagine there will be different groups (scottish and british) to apply to so that will make things more complicated but competition for money is always fierce, it will depend on whether they decide you have to be scottish to apply for certain grants – this seems highly unlikely though.
