Matt Carnie answered on 19 Jun 2013:

Kinetic energy is the energy of moving things. To breath your body converts chemical energy from your food to electrical energy in order for your brain to engage your muscles. Your muscles convert chemical energy into kinetic energy to move your diaphragm which draws air into your lungs. So kinetic energy is essential in order for you to breath! I hope I’ve answered you question!
