        That’s a tough questions!

Well… the universe started with the Big Bang many many millions of years ago and since then it has been expanding continuously. At some point it’s likely to stop expanding and then might start to shrink back down. Who know’s what will happen then, but maybe everything will get squashed back together into a tiny spec before another big bang occurs!

Don’t worry though, it’ll be billions of years before that happens!

As as I know the Universe is still expanding and galaxies are moving away from each other faster and faster. Eventually though (in about 10 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 years!) all the fuel in all the stars will run out and the universe will become a very dark, cold place.

The universe is huge, and now it is still expending!
So, I think the universe won’t end after our lives at least.

Fantastic question. You can see from the other answers that people who study this aren’t exactly sure what will happen at the end of the Universe, or if the Universe will actually end at all! But rest assured, it’s not going to end for a very very very very very very very long time. 😀
